Decision Tracking

Decisions made in meetings are often the most important output and the easiest thing to lose. HintMint identifies, attributes, and logs every decision automatically, so nothing gets re-litigated or forgotten.

How Decisions Are Detected

HintMint's intelligence layer listens for commitment language, agreement between parties, and finalized terms, then flags these moments as decisions rather than general discussion.

Each logged decision includes
  • The exact decision made
  • Who made it and who agreed to it
  • The meeting and date it was made in
  • Any related action items tied to it

Where Decisions Live

Decisions appear in the meeting summary and are also collected in a running Decision Log for each workspace, so you can see every commitment made across a project or client relationship in one place.

Confirming Accuracy

For high-stakes conversations, review flagged decisions after the meeting and confirm they're accurate. Select Confirm or Edit next to any logged decision.

Using Decision Tracking to Prevent Re-Litigation

Before your next meeting with the same participants, review the Decision Log. HintMint will also proactively surface relevant past decisions as live suggestions if the same topic comes up again.
