Context Awareness

Context Awareness is what separates HintMint from a transcription tool. It's the system that connects what's happening in your current meeting to everything relevant that came before it.

What Context Awareness Draws On

  • Prior meetings with the same participants, deal, or project
  • Decisions and action items logged in earlier calls
  • Documents and notes shared within the same workspace

How It Shapes Live Suggestions

When a topic comes up that overlaps with a previous conversation, HintMint surfaces that connection in real time, for example, flagging that a client raised the same pricing objection three calls ago, or that a decision was already made on a point now being reopened.

Context at the Workspace Level

Context Awareness operates within the boundaries of a workspace. Meetings assigned to the same client, deal, or project workspace share context with each other. Meetings in separate workspaces do not cross-reference by default, keeping unrelated conversations appropriately separated.

Controlling Context Scope

Go to Settings > AI Assistant > Context to adjust:

  • How far back HintMint looks when drawing on meeting history
  • Whether context draws from a single workspace or across all workspaces you have access to
