How HintMint Works

HintMint combines calendar awareness, real-time audio processing, and persistent memory into a single system that activates automatically and requires no manual operation during a meeting.

The Four Layers Behind Every Meeting

Every meeting HintMint handles moves through four layers that run together, from the moment a meeting is detected to the moment your documentation is ready.

Layer 1

Detection Layer

HintMint reads your connected calendar and recognizes scheduled meetings across Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. When a meeting starts, HintMint activates automatically. There is no button to press and nothing to remember to turn on.

Layer 2

Listening Layer

Once active, HintMint processes the live audio stream of the conversation. This is where multi-speaker recognition happens: every voice is separated and attributed, so the record reflects who said what, not just what was said.

Layer 3

Intelligence Layer

This is where HintMint moves beyond transcription. The conversation is analyzed in real time against:

  • The current meeting’s agenda and context
  • Prior meetings with the same participants, deal, or project
  • Documents and notes you’ve previously shared or referenced

This is what allows HintMint to suggest a follow-up question or flag that a client is repeating a concern they raised two weeks ago.

Layer 4

Output Layer

After the meeting, everything is compiled into structured, readable documentation — an executive summary, key points, decisions, action items, and assigned owners — with no manual editing required.

Why It Feels Instant

Because detection, listening, and intelligence run continuously in the background, there's no processing delay when the meeting ends. Your summary is ready the moment you close the call.

Data Handling at Each Layer

HintMint only accesses meeting audio and calendar data you've explicitly connected. See Privacy Overview for a full breakdown of what is stored, for how long, and who can access it.
