HintMint Isn't Detecting Meetings
If HintMint isn't automatically joining or detecting your meetings, work through these checks in order.
Confirm Calendar Connection
Go to Settings > Calendar and verify your calendar shows as Connected. If it shows as disconnected, reconnect it following Connect Your Calendar.
Check Meeting Rules
If you've set up meeting rules under Settings > Calendar > Meeting Rules, confirm the meeting in question isn't being excluded by a keyword, participant, or calendar filter.
Verify the App Is Running
Confirm HintMint is running in your system tray (Windows) or menu bar (Mac). If it isn't, relaunch the application.
Confirm the Meeting Is on a Supported Platform
HintMint currently supports Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Meetings on unsupported platforms will not trigger automatic detection.
Restart and Reconnect
If the issue persists:
- Quit HintMint completely.
- Relaunch the application.
- Sign out and sign back in.
- Reconnect your calendar if prompted.
Still Not Working?
Contact support with your account email and the time of the affected meeting so the team can review detection logs.
