Performance Optimization
If HintMint is running slowly, using excessive system resources, or causing lag during meetings, use the steps below to resolve it.
Update to the Latest Version
Performance improvements ship regularly. Go to Settings > About to check for and install the latest update.
Close Unnecessary Background Applications
HintMint processes audio and context in real time, which uses CPU and memory. Closing unused applications during meetings frees up resources.
Check Your Internet Connection
Since HintMint's intelligence layer relies on a stable connection to process context in real time, an unstable connection can cause delayed suggestions or incomplete summaries. A wired or strong Wi-Fi connection is recommended for important meetings.
Review Workspace Size
Very large workspaces with thousands of historical meetings can slow context retrieval slightly. Consider archiving inactive workspaces under Settings > Workspaces > Archive.
Restart the Application
If performance issues persist mid-session, quit and relaunch HintMint before your next meeting.
